Yes marriage is one of those things that all people need to fulfill/complete themselves

No. Marriage is not an accomplishment, you cannot plan on it therefor it cannot be a goal.

I'd never really considered marriage as an actual possibility for me until recently. I mean, yeah I figured I'd get married eventually, especially since everyone I knew it high school was either getting married or having kids, but for the longest time it wasn't anything I really cared about for me personally. None of my past relationships ever made me feel like they could/should last in the long run.
Then I was lucky. I met someone that I can actually SEE myself settling down with. The actual act of marriage would be kind of far off because, honestly, 20 is WAY too young to get married (I personally think, at least for myself). I still have plenty of life experiences I want to partake in. But at the same time, now I have someone I can share that with, regardless of if the law says we're a couple. Yes, I want to marry my man SOMEDAY. But I don't think it's a "goal", or "proof that I'm worth it", or really anything like that. If anything, it would just be a new chapter in my life.

But hey, I'm still young. I might be in that "stupid couple" stage.
